The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society (BRES) hosted a 3-day festival event in Downtown Baton Rouge August 27th, 28th & 29th called ‘Fête Rouge~A Louisiana Celebration of Food and Wine’.
I entered the drawing to win tickets to the Fete Rouge Wine and Culinary Festival on the spur of the moment and soon forgot about it. When the e-mail announcing the winner arrived, I thought aloud, “Oh, well, I wasn’t meant to be the winner.”
