Try A Food Truck Today!

Have you ever eaten at a food truck? If not, you’re missing out! There are almost 15 food trucks driving around Baton Rouge serving food quickly at a location convenient to you. They park all over the city and change locations once or twice a day but don’t worry – they are easy to track on Facebook or Twitter. To see the selection of trucks – I recommend attending one of the Baton Rouge Food Truck Round-Ups. Every Wednesday, many of the food trucks gather at a designated place to showcase the food trucks Baton Rouge has to offer. Calandro’s Supermarket on Government Street is tomorrow’s chosen Food Truck Round-Up destination. Here are some of the food trucks driving around Baton Rouge:

A Coffee Truck – Breakfast and sandwiches

Bite Me- Great poboys, salads, and a lil lagniappe coming soon!

Cuban Connection – Cuban pastries, sandwiches, and plantain chips coming soon!

Curbside- Mouth watering hamburgers, 25 different burgers rotate on the menu served with fries, chips, or tator tots as a side

Fresh Junkie- Healthy salads and wraps along with incredibly fast friendly service combine for a food experience unlike any other.

Geaux-Yo – Louisiana’s first frozen yogurt truck is here in Baton Rouge!!

Ignatius Reilly’s – a mobile informal bistro focusing on fresh handmade pasta along with seasonal soup, salad, & specials coming soon!

Kickers – The original Baton Rouge BBQ food truck

Latte e Miele – Gelato based out of the Highland Road store

Salivation Station- Paninis and wraps with Louisiana flair, recently added a 80/20 burger (20% bacon)

Taco de Paco – Traditional and specialized tacos. Choose your tortilla and fillings for a yummy taco priced at $2.75 each. Add $2 and make it a meal deal with chips and a drink
