Stormy Weather Won’t Stop the Blues in Baton Rouge

The organizers of the Baton Rouge Blues Festival have announced an inclement weather plan in case the forecasters are correct.  If the sun is shining, the festival will go on Saturday, April 24th from Noon until 10pm in Repentence Park (next to the Old State Capitol on River Road) in downtown Baton Rouge.  The inclement weather alternative concert schedule will be as following in venues on 3rd Street in downtown Baton Rouge:

Tyree Neal 12:30pm – 1:15 pm @The Roux House; Janiva Magness 2:00pm – 3:15 pm @The Roux House; Sonny Landreth 3:00pm – 4:15pm @Boudreaux & Thibodeaux’s; Tony Joe White 6:00pm – 7:15 pm @Boudreaux & Thibodeaux; Ruthie Foster 4:30pm – 6:00 pm @The Manship Theatre Black Box and finally Chris Thomas King 6:30pm – 7:45pm @The Manship Theatre Black Box.  All shows will remain FREE CONCERTS!!!
